- A shorthand speed of at least 50 words per minute in English
- Typing speed of at least 35 wpm

Assistant Sub Inspector ASI Jobs:
- Intermediate or equivalent qualification
- Height for Male: 5 feet 7 inches
- Height for Female: 5 feet 2 inches

Lady Constable/Constable Jobs:
- Qualification: Matric
