Griffith University International Scholarships The Griffith Remarkable Scholarship is designed for exceptional students who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership potential, and community involvement. This scholarship provides up to 50% of tuition fees for the duration of a student’s program.
Griffith International Scholarship: The Griffith International Scholarship is available to students from all countries who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement, leadership potential, and community involvement. This scholarship provides a 25% tuition fee reduction for the duration of a student’s program.
Griffith Sports Excellence Scholarship: The Griffith Sports Excellence Scholarship is designed for students who have demonstrated outstanding sporting ability at a national or international level. This scholarship provides up to 50% of tuition fees for the duration of a student’s program.

Scholarship Support:
The program will cover tuition fees for up to three years for doctoral candidates and master candidates who will pay tuition fees for up to two years. Overseas students will receive health insurance from a candidate throughout their education.
- The GUIPRS fee does not cover the award obligation to cover tuition costs over the course of the program award.
- Overseas Student Health Cover.
- The grant requires the expense of a compulsory Overseas Student Health Cover program that protects up to 42 months for the applicant and his / her dependents (if any).

Griffith University Scholarships for Foreign Students can be held for a master’s degree program for up to two years and a doctoral degree program for up to three years. Medical applicants may be extended for six months under certain circumstances. In all courses offered at Griffith University, Australia, students are available. Below, some of these are provided:

To apply for GUIPRS, a candidate must:
- Not a national student, as defined as an Australian country student; or permanent Australian resident or holder of an Australian Permanent Humanitarian Australian Visa; or a New Zealand citizen.
- Starting or enrolling in an HDR program at Griffith University (where GUITARS funding is available).
- GUIPRS will not be awarded to an applicant seeking the same Commonwealth Government Grant or scholarship to cover tuition costs for the HDR scheme.

Guidelines for How to Submit Application for Griffith University International Scholarships 2023:
- The process for completing a high-level online application must be followed by those who may be part of a research program, which also includes a bursary submission phase. An online program can be downloaded here.
